Please call or e-mail so we can discuss your problem.  Most repairs for RT-21s are simple replacement of lightning/surge suppressors that can easily be repaired in the field. Many times, settings, or external issues are causing the problem and we would be glad to work through these possibilities first.

Although we do not require an RMA (returned merchandise authorization), we will give specific return instructions.

Important RT-21 Shipping Instructions :

• Inside the shipping box include your contact and shipping information and a description of the problem.

• You must pack your equipment appropriately.

An RT-21 has a 6 lb internal transformer that must be considered. We cannot be responsible for poorly packed equipment, and any insurance you buy will not cover anything if the shipper considers the packaging insufficient.

• Please use a box at least 12″ x 12″ x 6″.

This is the size of your original shipping box. Please use a HEAVY DUTY CARTON if possible.

• Completely cocoon the controller in bubble wrap.

This will take 8′ of 5/16″ bubble wrap, 12″ wide, wrap it round the front to back in order to provide best cushioning for the front panel and knob.

• Stuff additional bubble wrap or peanuts into sides and voids.

Continue until the box is completely full and requires compression in order to close.

Make sure there is enough packing material to protect the front of the controller where the knob protrudes.

The controller MUST NOT move around inside the box after it is packed and sealed.

DO NOT USE A CARTON SMALLER THAN 12″ x 12″ x 6″

We have flat-rate repair pricing for most items. This will cover parts and labor to repair your product, but does not include shipping. Severe lightning damage or physical damage may incur extra charge, or in rare cases be more costly to repair than to replace.
